Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM)
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with emphasis on cost optimization and automation
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and incident response procedures
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and ELK Stack
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) for routine maintenance
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document system architecture and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise-level system administration
- Expert knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Active Directory
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Network administration fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT service management knowledge
