Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement security protocols, patches, and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and documentation for complex issues
- Design disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise system administration
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Proficient in backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
