Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM)
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure with emphasis on security and compliance
- Oversee network administration including firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues and coordinate vendor relationships
- Develop automation scripts using Ansible/PowerShell for operational efficiency
- Ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance through rigorous security protocols
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Certification in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP management
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proven track record in ITIL/ITSM processes
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
