Responsibilities

  • Threat Detection & Response: Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) feeds using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar to identify and neutralize sophisticated cyber threats in real-time.
  • Network Security: Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs to enforce secure network architectures.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct rigorous vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before malicious actors exploit them.
  • Incident Management: Lead post-incident reviews and develop playbooks to enhance organizational resilience against ransomware and phishing attacks.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.

Qualifications
