Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise firewalls
- Implement backup/recovery solutions and disaster protocols
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline automation
- Document SOPs and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Lead after-hours on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level Windows Server 2016+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Cloud proficiency (AWS/Azure) with IaaS/PaaS implementation
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP preferred)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities
