Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and maintain compliance with NIST standards
- Oversee network operations including VPN, firewalls, and VLAN configurations
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and performance tuning
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restores
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Document IT infrastructure and create SOPs for team scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with high-pressure situations
