Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Oversee network security protocols and compliance (HIPAA/PCI-DSS)
- Perform system backups, recoveries, and disaster planning
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
- Document processes and maintain configuration management
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Strong background in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell/Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours on-call rotation
