Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex system issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Python
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expert knowledge of virtualization (VMware/KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Proven ability to manage enterprise-scale infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
