Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS/GCP environments including EC2, S3, and VPC configurations
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management
- Oversee system patching, updates, and performance monitoring across Linux/Windows servers
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Automate workflows using Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripts
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system architecture and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with certification preferred
- Strong networking skills including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- ITIL foundation or equivalent IT service management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
