Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols, monitor network security, and respond to incidents
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell/Python and configuration management tools
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and ensure 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with ITIL standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools (Ansible)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, Active Directory, and DNS
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds) and ITIL frameworks
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and prioritize critical incidents
