Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Zabbix to prevent downtime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for 500+ endpoints
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python to streamline deployment processes
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover testing
- Collaborate with security team to implement NIST-compliant controls and vulnerability patches
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server 2019/2022
- Expert-level knowledge of Azure AD, SCCM, and VMware vSphere
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python) for automation tasks
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- Proven ability to manage hybrid cloud environments with cost optimization focus
- Excellent documentation skills and change management experience
- BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
