Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Linux/Windows server environments including virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization (Docker)
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios/Zabbix to prevent downtime and optimize performance
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute emergency response protocols with 99.99% uptime SLA
- Manage Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO integration for 500+ enterprise users
- Automate workflows using Ansible/Terraform and Python scripting
- Collaborate with security teams to implement NIST-compliant controls and patch management
- Document infrastructure blueprints and SOPs for compliance audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server 2019+
- Strong scripting abilities (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certification required
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
