Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premise and AWS cloud platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services (Cisco/Juniper)
- Implement security protocols and compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA)
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier 3 support and incident response for 500+ endpoints
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds and optimize resource allocation
- Document infrastructure changes and create disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with 2+ years in cloud environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- CCNA/CCNP or AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and containerization (Docker)
- Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for hardware maintenance
