Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and wide-area networks, servers, and firewalls to ensure high availability and performance.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct regular system audits and backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or VCP are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
