Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premise and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios/Zabbix, resolving incidents with SLA-driven efficiency
- Execute patch management, vulnerability assessments, and security hardening protocols
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible/Terraform for scalable infrastructure management
- Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning initiatives
- Document system architectures, network diagrams, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level system administration with Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and storage issues (SAN/NAS)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation for critical incidents
