Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Active Directory
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to ensure 99.99% uptime
- Automate deployment processes using Terraform and Ansible for scalable operations
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewall configuration and vulnerability scanning
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups across hybrid environments
- Provide tier-3 support and mentor junior team members on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with cloud platforms
- Expert-level knowledge of Linux/Windows Server environments and virtualization (VMware)
- Certifications in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+ strongly preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
