Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services
- Coordinate disaster recovery plans and business continuity testing
- Document IT procedures and create technical knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
