Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Lead system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and compliance auditing for PCI-DSS and HIPAA
- Automate deployment workflows using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support with rapid incident response capabilities
- Document infrastructure architecture, create runbooks, and mentor junior team members
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and resource monitoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration with Linux and Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with deep knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in implementing security best practices and compliance frameworks
- ITIL certification or equivalent process management experience
