Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Design and automate infrastructure solutions using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages and performance issues
- Oversee backup/disaster recovery planning and testing
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with ITIL standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP administration
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or AWS/Azure preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Strong understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to manage high-pressure incidents with minimal supervision
