Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Ensure system security through patch management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance monitoring
- Optimize performance and scalability of network infrastructure and virtualization platforms
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and lead disaster recovery initiatives
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell/Python and CI/CD pipelines
- Document procedures and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expert-level proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Proven track record in managing enterprise backup systems (Veeam/Commvault)
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
