Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments
- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, storage, and networking
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for complex infrastructure issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Python
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Azure or AWS certification (AZ-104 or AWS SysOps)
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Understanding of network security principles (firewalls, VPNs)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
