Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy with zero tolerance for downtime
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular DR tests
- Automate deployment using PowerShell/Ansible and monitor infrastructure with Zabbix/Prometheus
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure as code
- Document all systems and processes using Confluence for audit compliance
- Provide Tier-3 support during critical incidents and lead post-mortem analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with 3+ years in cloud environments
- Expert-level certification (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or RHCE)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet)
- Proven track record of managing 500+ endpoint environments
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
