Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and ensure system compliance with industry standards
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and minimize downtime
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and maintain operational procedures
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong knowledge of backup/DR solutions (Veeam, Rubrik)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or MCSE) preferred
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) a plus
