Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery procedures
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Troubleshoot complex network issues involving VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system architecture and maintain operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019) and RHEL/CentOS
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure) with IaaS/PaaS services
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
