Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server infrastructure across AWS and Azure
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Monitor system health using Nagios/Zabbix and implement proactive security protocols
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover tests
- Document SOPs and automate repetitive tasks using Ansible/Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier-3 support during critical outages
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS 8+
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven disaster recovery implementation in hybrid environments
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedule (1 week/month)
