Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level systems including Linux/Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive security measures
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting (Python/PowerShell) and configuration management tools
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and service delivery
- Document system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification preferred
- Proven ability to manage enterprise networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
