Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Manage Windows Server and Linux environments with 99.99% uptime SLA
- Lead security audits and compliance initiatives (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior engineers
- Document systems architecture and create runbooks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Admin
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and containerization
- Strong background in network security protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
