Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows Server environments supporting 500+ users
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and RDS with Terraform automation
- Lead security hardening and compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Develop Ansible playbooks for infrastructure-as-code deployments
- Monitor system performance using Datadog/Splunk with proactive alerting
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Mentor junior administrators through technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux and Windows Server
- Expertise in AWS services and cloud migration strategies
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/Ansible)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-layered systems methodically
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
