We're seeking a dedicated professional to maintain our hybrid cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This hybrid role offers flexibility with 3 days remote work per week while collaborating with our Columbus-based team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and VMware virtualization environments
- Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Lambda deployments
- Perform proactive system monitoring, patch management, and disaster recovery testing
- Document IT processes and create technical documentation for team knowledge base
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex system issues
