Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux infrastructure across on-premises and AWS environments
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Datadog, and Splunk
- Execute patch management, security hardening, and compliance audits
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Lead disaster recovery planning and failover testing
- Document IT infrastructure using Visio and Confluence
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong proficiency with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or MCSE preferred
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network fundamentals
