Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Manage cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC) and automate deployment using Ansible/Terraform
- Ensure 99.99% uptime through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Lead capacity planning and performance tuning for critical business systems
- Document SOPs and create runbooks for operational excellence
- Mentor junior IT staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows Server
- Expert-level AWS certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
