Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable Linux/Windows Server environments across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust security frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and compliance protocols
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system health using ELK Stack and Grafana, proactively resolving performance bottlenecks
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system failover testing quarterly
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for technical teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux/Windows Server
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid cloud architecture
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and containerization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
