Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure with 50+ VMs and NSX networking
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system incidents and performance tuning
- Document SOPs and maintain CMDB for infrastructure assets
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong background in cloud migration (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Proven ability to manage SAN/NAS storage (NetApp, Dell EMC)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN)
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior staff
