Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues across the organization efficiently.
- Backup & Recovery: Manage data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and VPNs.
- Cloud Management: Manage cloud resources (AWS/Azure) and optimize cloud costs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- OS Knowledge: Proficient in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, RHCE, or CCNA preferred.
- Scripting: Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
