Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the daily operations of Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and switches.
- Automate system administration tasks using Python or Bash scripting to improve efficiency.
- Oversee user account management in Active Directory, ensuring strict security protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage cloud resources on AWS and Azure.
- Conduct regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or VCP are highly preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
