Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments
- Implement security protocols and conduct regular vulnerability assessments
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues
- Design disaster recovery plans and execute system backups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
- Document system configurations and maintain operational procedures
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for critical business systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, DNS, and Active Directory
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
