Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage identity/access controls, security protocols, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize performance and cost efficiency
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute periodic testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with cloud platforms
- Expert proficiency in Linux/Windows Server environments and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Deep knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications (AWS/Azure, CompTIA Security+, ITIL) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Nagios, Datadog)
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced environments
