Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server/Linux environments with 99.99% uptime SLA
- Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, and hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and cybersecurity incident response protocols
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior sysadmins and document infrastructure blueprints
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Zabbix and proactively resolve bottlenecks
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
- AWS/Azure certification (e.g., Solutions Architect or SysOps Admin)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) with infrastructure-as-code exposure
- VMware ESXi vSphere administration and backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain (FISMA compliance)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
