Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of on-premise servers, virtualization environments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- System Monitoring & Security: Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and enforce security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Network Administration: Configure and manage network devices, VPNs, and firewalls to ensure secure connectivity.
- User Support: Provide high-level technical support and training to internal staff regarding system usage and best practices.
- Automation: Script and automate routine administrative tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, RHCSA, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
