Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (VPN, firewalls)
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system hardening initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure
- Document system architecture and create operational runbooks
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS
- Expertise in Azure/AWS services (IaaS, PaaS, networking)
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or AWS Certified SysOps Admin)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, load balancers)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Datadog)
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
