Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols across hybrid environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot outages, and implement disaster recovery solutions
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document IT procedures and create SOPs for system administration tasks
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and industry security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS SysOps Administrator preferred
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi) and container technologies
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
