Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Manage Windows Server and Linux environments with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead security hardening, patch management, and compliance initiatives
- Automate workflows using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot complex system issues with root cause analysis
- Mentor junior admins and document operational procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure-as-code projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with cloud expertise
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, SolarWinds)
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
