Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and Azure
- Lead network security initiatives including firewall management, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments
- Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripting
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk, proactively identifying optimization opportunities
- Manage cloud infrastructure including IAM policies, VPC design, and cost optimization
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Mentor junior team members and establish system administration best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and Active Directory
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification required
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of implementing high-availability solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
