Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premises infrastructure
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and high-availability system deployments
- Automate workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell scripting
- Monitor system performance with Splunk/Prometheus and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
- Mentor junior administrators and document SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with proven cloud expertise
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and IaaS platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills with complex multi-tier systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
