Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Oversee network administration including switches, routers, and VPN configurations
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and lead system troubleshooting initiatives
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python) and configuration management tools
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP management
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud services
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
