Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning initiatives
- Execute patch management, security hardening, and compliance protocols (CIS, NIST)
- Automate infrastructure workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Provide Tier-3 support and collaborate with development teams on infrastructure-as-code projects
- Document system architectures and maintain configuration management databases
- Drive disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certification required
- Proven track record in infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex hybrid environments
- Strong written communication for technical documentation and stakeholder updates
