Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using cloud-native patterns (AWS/GCP)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and CI/CD automation
- Lead migration of legacy systems to modern cloud infrastructure
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry best practices
- Partner with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker) and IaC (Terraform)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
