As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll analyze security alerts, investigate incidents, and implement defensive measures to protect our clients' digital assets. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during weekend shifts
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents using forensic tools and threat intelligence
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security breaches
- Document security events and generate detailed incident reports
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC or cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with on-call rotation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
