Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) during weekend shifts to detect and analyze threats
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate rapid response protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend schedules
- Generate and maintain security documentation including incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during weekend incident escalation
- Conduct weekend security audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification preferred
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
