Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions using modern technologies such as React, Node.js, and Python.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on best practices, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure 99.9% uptime and a seamless user experience.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical code reviews to foster a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Austin or remote US-based roles.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and containerization tools like Docker.
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
